Gas Prices

Well we had a friend to call tonight and say that gas prices are going to be $5.20 by morning. Chad has ran out to fill up his truck. It figures gas prices would jump up right before we go to Disney. I tell you if it wasn't for bad luck we wouldn't have no luck at all.

My Sister

Well somethings have came to light today about my sister. Apparently, if she makes it through basic training and can pass a test she will get to work for the IT Dept. I hope everything works out the way she is planning but I really hope she hasn't messed up. I just know that I worry about my niece and nephews. I love them so much!

Homework Overload

Well Chad and Cierra have been doing homework all night. I think with Chad taking his studies so seriously it helps Cierra to want to do good. They are so cute! Well on another note I had to go to the Doctor today over my sinuses. Yes, I keep putting the Dr visit off and it is now a severe sinus infection. Anyway, she gave me some medicine and nose spray. Hopefully I will be feeling better soon.

Out of Control

My life feels like it is spinning completely out of control. My sister has joined the army. She is going to leave 3 kids behind while she goes to basic training. I don't have a problem with someone wanting to join the military. I have a problem with someone wanting to join the military when they have 3 kids. I can't understand how a mother can leave her son's 12 & 7 and a beautiful little girl who will be 6 behind. She had her oldest at 15 years old. She is all he has ever had and she is going to run off and leave him with his stepfather. For the past few years she has been a full time mother how can you just leave like that? I just don't understand it. I hope those kids know I will be here for them. I love them to death and will do anything for them. I am losing a lot of respect for my sister. What would she have though if our mother had done the same thing to us?

Is it worth it?

I remember life before kids, Chad and I use to just jump in the car and take off on a moments notice. We would make a decision without really putting much thought into it. Since having the girls every decision we make goes through several scenarios before we actually make the decision. We put them first in everything we do. I know we aren't perfect parents but I hope we are giving them a great start in life. I know some people who make decisions without actually thinking them through. Like taking a job that is going to keep you away from you family for possibly years at a time when you have young children. Yes the money looks good, but are you looking at the whole picture? What are you going to do when your youngest child wakes up sick and your spouse has to take them to the hospital? You are millions of miles away and can't get back. You can't help them with school work, or attend sport events, be there when they have parents day at school, teach them things, be there for Dr. appointments, and be there just when they have questions. When you come back home finally after a year. Your kids don't know you, they have to recreate a bond that has been broken, and they have went through several physicial changes and you missed it all. You can't get that back. Somethings just aren't worth the money.

It's That Time of Year Again

Well, this weekend has absolutely set my allergies off. My eyes have crap running out of them, the wind makes me sneeze, and I don't care what the allergies pills say it makes me sleepy. I know Cierra will be starting up with the stuff anytime. I usually start with this stuff and a week or so later she will start. It's just this time of year.

Yard Sale

Well today me and a couple of my girlfriends decided to have a yard sale. I don't know why I participated but I put a couple of things in the yard sale hoping not to have to bring them home. Well I didn't have to bring home much. Granted, I didn't take much to begin with. Oh well, at least it's a few more items out of the house.

Well I have a couple of Christmas presents bought but I don't plan on buying many presents until we get back from our trip to Disney. I also planned to start working on the house when we get back. I think I have found the perfect counter top. My friends mother showed me a sample of hers today and I love it! I think it will go perfectly with the paint color I'm wanting. Now, If I can only find the perfect floor.
