Hayrides

Well Saturday my niece and one of my nephews came and spent the night with us. We had a great time!!! I took them to a friends house and we went on a hayride. The kids really seemed to enjoy spending time with their Aunt Christy and Uncle Chad. You could also tell they really missed their mother. I asked my niece about her mother and she almost cried so I had to changed the subject. I don't think I will ask about their mother in front of them any more. I could also tell their dad misses their mother too. I will be so glad when she gets out of basic training. I pray she doesn't get deployed. Sunday morning after we had breakfast I took the kids to get their costumes for Halloween. We had a really good time. I can't wait to see them next weekend.

Back to Work

Well I had to go back to work today after having a wonderful vacation with my family. I am so happy we had the opportunity to take them to Disney. I hope they will look back at it with pleasant memories. I was kind of glad to go back to work just to have things back to normal. I know that sounds insane but it's true.

I don't know what it is but here the past couple of days I really miss talking to my sister. I wish so bad she hadn't join the army. Her kids miss her, her family misses her, and so does her husband. I swear I think she is going through a mid life crisis at 28.

The last day of Vacation

5th day Downtown Disney

This was the final Disney thing we did. These pictures were taken at Downtown Disney. All downtown Disney is, is a huge shopping mall. We thought that they had a Build a Bear store but it wasn't opening for 2 more weeks. We did see some neat Lego sculptures. Chad and the girls got to see the boat used in the movie Forest Gump. We did find a build a bear store at the Florida Mall.

4th day Epcot and Magic Kingdom

On the fourth day of our Disney tour we went to Epcot. It is the more educational park. It is also the one park where you can visit with the characters. Cierra had a great time seeing Mickey and Chip and Dale. They also had a Nemo ride that was inside a huge aquarium. The best ride up there was soarin. It felt like you were really hang gliding.

3rd Hollywood Studio

On the 3rd day of our Disney vacation we went to Disney's Hollywood Studio's. Cierra got to meet Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. We all rode the Star Wars ride which was a simulator but it was really fun. Chad, Courtney, and myself rode the Aerosmith's rollercoaster. It was a great ride just not long enough. All of us except Cierra rode the Tower of Terror. That was the best ride up there! Cierra liked the Toy Story Mania ride. While we were there Jordan Sparks American Idol winner was up there filming a video so we got to get a snap shot of her.

Second Day Magic Kingdom

The second day we went to the Magic Kingdom. It has changed a lot since I was a kid. Courtney and Chad enjoyed Space Mountain. Cierra enjoyed seeing the castle and all of the characters walking around. I really enjoyed splash mountain. I thought that was a great ride. All of the Disney parks are so clean. All of us enjoyed the haunted mansion. All of the workers really get into character.
