Well there isn't much going on today. Still trying to rewind after vacation. School starts Tuesday so we are in the process of getting school supplies. I think we are all set except for shoes. Can you believe Courtney will be in high school this year? It seems like summer just started and now they are going back to school. Hopefully both girls will have a wonderful year.

New Cousin
Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to post a quick entry about our new family member. My cousin that is only a day older than me just had her first baby. It's a boy and he is so precious. Matthew was only 5 pounds when he was born. He is so sweet. I'm so happy for her and her husband. They are going to be wonderful parents!

We're Still Alive
Hello All!!!
Sorry I haven't posted this past week. We have had Vacation Bible School (VBS) at church. This was the first year I have ever participated in helping with the VBS. I was in charge of the "snack shack". I really enjoyed it. I served fresh fruit on Monday and Wednesday. I really didn't expect the kids to like it so well. On Friday I served ice cream sundae's. They really enjoyed that. I am so glad that I helped with it this year. Not only did I get more respect for the people that help with the VBS but I got to know some of the ladies in the church better. These ladies are great. Just as sweet as they can be and willing to help do anything they can. I think I learned a lot from my experience this week. I don't think I was ever so tired in all of my life. In case your wondering yes I will be glad to do it again next year.

4th of July
Last night was a great 4th of July!!! We had some of our closest friends to come over and celebrate. The weather may not of been the best but the company and entertainment was Awesome! We had a wonderful meal, super desserts, and rock band on the Wii. That kept us entertainment all night. There was a couple of times when the men and kids got into it over the rock band. They all wanted to play.

Alone
Tonight's posting is going to be pretty short. The girls are gone and I'm wanting to get my cleaning done before they come back. Chad had his last night of class in his Macroeconomics and of course my nerd got an A. So now he is out in the garage working on the girls go cart. Notice there is a jack and a cable attached to this thing. Can you picture what he would do to a car? Jake is thinking what is that crazy guy doing?

July Already?
Can you believe today is the 1st of July? This getting older thing is not all that it is cracked up to be. Where did June go? I am already seeing back to school aisle's showing up in Wal-Mart. Pretty soon the kids will be going back to school and I feel like we have had no family time. Everyone gets so caught up in work, sports, and all of the other things that sometimes the importance of family time gets over looked. When I sit and really think about everything I realize that in 4 more summers Courtney will hopefully be getting ready to start college and Cierra will be starting high school. Is that possible? Everyone always told me that time flies when you get older. I just didn't realize how fast it was flying. Where's the air sick bag?
